PARTNER WITH US

We know there are many people who share our passion for creating a world where all refugees can live safely, move freely, work and go to school. We want you to partner with us! Please see the sections below to explore possibilities:

Advocacy at the local level

We strongly believe in the power of grassroots and national-level partnerships to advance the rights of refugees. We know that collaborative efforts in legal empowerment and policy change can have a particularly strong impact.

If you are a representative of a company or organization in Mexico, Malaysia or Thailand that is interested in promoting the rights of refugees, feel free to contact our national organizations directly.

Advocacy at the global level

We believe that significant, systemic change is needed in how we support people who have been forcibly displaced from their home countries. This means change both within the refugee response sector and in society as a whole.

If you are a representative of a human rights organization or group and would like to work together on advocacy initiatives to advance these changes, please Contact Us.

Funding

We are humble and thankful to have received the trust and support of various individuals, foundations and governments.

If you are a representative of a foundation or grant-making organization, please feel free to contact our Development Director, Lisa D’Annunzio, at lisa.dannunzio@asylumaccess.org to discuss potential funding partnership opportunities to protect and advance refugee rights. You are also welcome to check our Impact and Financials pages.

If you are an individual who would like to make a donation to Asylum Access, please check our donation page to see the many donation options that are available. Those who would like to chat with a member of our team or require further information before making a significant gift can email our Development Director, Lisa D’Annunzio, at lisa.dannunzio@asylumaccess.org

Education

If you are a teacher or lecturer teaching about refugee issues and would like to request a member of our team to share about our work or field questions from your students about refugee rights, feel free to get in touch with our Global Headquarters through our Contact Us page.

Educators at academic institutions in Mexico, Thailand and Malaysia can also reach out to our national organizations directly.

Hospitality Route

Asylum Access Mexico runs an initiative called the Hospitality Route (in Spanish: Ruta de la Hospitalidad) that connects refugees and people seeking asylum in Mexico to various types of support and opportunities from partner companies and organizations.

If you or your organization would like to offer your services or support to refugees and people seeking asylum in Mexico, feel free to email us at rutadelahospitalidad@asylumaccess.org

Media Appearances

We are well versed at providing expert and on-the-ground insight into the issues that affect refugees and migrants. Our commentary has previously been featured in NPR, The Hill, CNN, Al Jazeera, the New York Times, El Universal, Milenio, El Pais, Telemundo, The Star Malaysia and New Humanitarian.

If you are a journalist, radio host or podcast host and would like to interview a member of Asylum Access about our work or about issues affecting refugees and migrants, please email us at media@asylumaccess.org. For media enquires in Spanish, email us at medios@asylumaccess.org

Pro-Bono Support

We are always happy to partner with consultancies, design companies, law firms, translation firms and others that are hoping to find meaningful and impactful volunteering opportunities for their expert staff. If you would like to explore a pro-bono partnership please Contact Us.

Specifically, if you are a law firm that would like to provide pro-bono support to organizations supporting refugees and people seeking asylum, please consider signing up to the pro-bono lawyer network on PILnet. If you would like to offer your services directly to Asylum Access, feel free to Contact Us.

Research and Academic Partnerships

We have previously partnered with other human rights groups and academic institutions in order to produce policy recommendations for lawmakers, guidelines for refugee response practitioners, and regional reports on refugee rights.

If you are an academic or research student and would like to partner on a research project or report concerning the rights of refugees, feel free to contact either our Global Headquarters or national organizations through our Contact Us page.
