Announcement for volunteer opportunity: researcher and paralegal or advocate in Asylum Access Thailand (AAT)’s research project ‘Advancing refugee protection and promoting accountability in Southeast Asia through legal empowerment and refugee leadership (ARPR)’ 

The initiative aims to strengthen refugees’ legal empowerment, enabling them to understand, use, and shape laws impacting their lives in Thailand.

We are recruiting community paralegals and advocates with lived experience of forced displacement who have a high English proficiency, and a commitment to community service. Volunteers will engage in research, be educated and educate their communities on Thai laws, and advocate for refugee rights. This position is stipend-supported, and applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
