Up until now, global response to the world’s 22.5 million refugees has centered around humanitarian aid. At Asylum Access, we know that when refugees have autonomy and can enjoy their human rights, they can unleash tremendous human potential to rebuild their own lives and contribute to their host economy.
That’s why we challenge barriers that keep refugees from accessing their basic rights, such as living safely, moving freely, working and attending school. We dismantle global and national barriers for refugees, and amplify the voices of refugee communities so they become their own champions.
This video, filmed and produced by the Skoll Foundation, illustrates our work and the refugee clients we have supported in their journey to rebuilding their lives with dignity.
