Asylum Access Thailand, in collaboration with Asia Pacific Refugee Rights Network, People Empowerment Foundation, and Refugee Rights Litigation Project, has submitted the UPR report “Refugee Rights Network in Thailand, Joint Submission Universal Periodic Review of Thailand, Thailand Cycle 3, 39th Sessions” to the UN.
The Refugee Rights Network was established ad-hoc and aims to reflect the situations of asylum seekers and refugees in Thailand in the urban and camp context from perspectives of civil society organizations who advocate on the refugee issue and provide support to asylum seekers and refugees directly and indirectly.
อไซลัมแอคเซสประเทศไทย ร่วมกับมูลนิธิศักยภาพชุมชน โครงการให้ความช่วยเหลือทางกฎหมายแก่ผู้ลี้ภัย และ Asia Pacific Refugee Rights Network ได้ยื่นรายงาน “เครือข่ายสิทธิผู้ลี้ภัยในประเทศไทยร่วมเสนอรายงานสำหรับการทบทวนสถานการณ์สิทธิมนุษยชนของประเทศไทย ภายใต้กลไกกระบวนการทบทวนสถานการณ์สิทธิมนุษยชน (Universal Periodic Review) รอบที่ 3 สมัยประชุมที่ 39” แก่องค์การสหประชาติ
เครือข่ายสิทธิผู้ลี้ภัยก่อตั้งขึ้นเป็นการชั่วคราว และมีเป้าหมายเพื่อสะท้อนภาพสถานการณ์ของผู้แสวงหาที่ลี้ภัยและผู้ลี้ภัยในประเทศไทย ทั้งในเขตเมืองและในค่ายที่พักพิงชั่วคราว จากมุมมองขององค์กรภาคประชาสังคมที่รณรงค์ในประเด็นผู้ลี้ภัย และให้ความสนับสนุนทั้งโดยทางตรงและทางอ้อมต่อผู้แสวงหาที่ลี้ภัยและผู้ลี้ภัย
