[Online Event] Seeking Safety: Biden’s Promises to Refugees at the US-Mexico Border

*Simultaneous interpretation in English and Spanish will be provided for the event

President Biden recently took steps to reverse the Trump administration’s cruel and inhumane asylum policies. How will these new policies affect the thousands of refugees stranded at the US-Mexico border? Do they go far enough to ensure that all refugee families can find safety?

Join us for a conversation with Asylum Access Mexico, the largest legal services provider for refugees in Mexico. Alejandra Macías Delgadillo and Daniel Berlin, Asylum Access Mexico Executive Director and Deputy Director, will break down these policies and discuss the opportunities and challenges faced by our clients at the US-Mexico border and beyond.

During the first 15 minutes of the event Emily Arnold-Fernández, Asylum Access President and CEO, will provide a brief overview of Asylum Access’s work globally and how we’re fighting to make human rights a reality for refugees worldwide.
